Velocity Commerce Center

This project entailed the conversion of the former County Line Commerce Center office building into light industrial warehouse space, featuring extensive structural modifications and phased demolition.  The existing two-story structure was reinforced along its perimeter with brace framing and girts to facilitate the removal of the second floor diaphragm, with all work carefully sequenced using shoring and temporary bracing.  The project also included significant electrical upgrades while maintaining operations in the occupied portion of the building, along with the installation of a new ESFR fire protection system, loading area, and comprehensive plumbing and HVAC upgrades.
