Harborside Financial Center Plaza 5

This 34-story office complex at the Harborside Financial Center is situated along the waterfront in Jersey City. The 1.5 million square foot building  provides street-level retail stores, parking for 1,400 cars, 230,000 square feet of trading floors, and 650,000 square feet of Class A office space. The Plaza 5 structure is supported on steel pipe piles and nine-foot diameter caissons socketed into the bedrock. The  steel-framed superstructure rises 480 feet above street-level. The base of the building features brick precast panels.  The upper portion of the building is clad in an all glass curtainwall system.
